Plastic Bag Dress-up

On day when needed an activity Hailey and McKayla used plastic shopping bags to design costumes.

Kitchen Hiding Spot

One day Hailey was up on the counter and found this empty space in the corner of the kitchen, where the two cabinets meet. It's relatively large so she stood up inside.

Candy Graph

We had too much candy left from Halloween, Christmas, and other events so we used four different kinds of candy, took a survey of several people's candy preference, and made a candy graph. Thanks to all our participants!

A Visit from Grandma and Grandpa Waite

Mark, Coleen, Heather, and Heidi Waite visited Texas in December 2013-January 2014. We enjoyed various activities and had so much fun! For correct chronology and more photos, see https://plus.google.com/116306159720926274068/stories/ec09dd03-783c-37f6-816d-6e96594c047b146760c372b.

When they arrived we wandered in the tunnels and walked through the Aquarium.

One day the adults raced go karts at Track 21.

Another day we toured the Bluebell Ice Cream Factory.

On New Year's Eve and we went roller skating at Mason Skate in Katy. The roller rink was really uneven in places, but it didn't slow us down. Actually, it did, but we still had fun. McKayla was pretty tentative, even though she roller skates at home often. But Hailey ventured out on her own and especially loved being pulled. Emily mostly slept.

Another day we visited the oil rig museum and the beach at Galveston, TX. We took the cars on a ferry at Galveston. So cool!
