Bruce and Rachel
Bruce and I were married on August 20, 2008 in the Mt. Timponogas Temple in Utah. We met at Brigham Young University in a Single's Ward Family Home Evening Group.
Background Information about Bruce:
He was born in Pennsylvania where his dad was teaching at Penn State College. They moved to the Utah Valley where Bruce grew up. He played football and basketball in high school and served a mission in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Background Information about Rachel:
She was born in Washington state but moved to Colorado as a baby. She was raised in Colorado, swam in high school and was involved in various community and school clubs and committees.
Background Information about Us:
We both attend Brigham Young University. Bruce will major in accounting and has either 2 or 3 years of school left. I am an exercise science major. I'll apply for graduate school this December to become and occupational therapist. If accepted, I'll attend the University of Utah while Bruce finishes at BYU.
Current Location and Pastimes:
We are living in Provo in a cute one bedroom apartment. We've done some decorating. We painted our walls a gray-blue and have combined other decorating ideas. We've enjoyed some "home improvement" projects such as refinishing tables, sewing curtains.
Bruce and I enjoy every minute that we are able to spend together. Life is busy between work- he mows lawns and installs sprinkler systems with the family business in the summer. Last semester we both worked on the BYU sprinkler crew, but I'm currently working at a Physical Therapy clinic and will be a water auditor over the summer. Bruce will focus on the family business all summer.
